Originally from India, I am passionate about performing arts, specifically singing, acting and dancing. I am in the eleventh year of my lifelong journey of learning North Indian Classical Music from Mahesh Kale. I am a strong believer in the positive impact of music in life. In addition to singing, I have been acting in plays for over a decade in the bay area. I have had opportunities to represent a wide variety of characters in both English and Hindi. I have performed and taught free flow as well as bollywood dancing. I am excited about helping children and adults explore the fundamentals of movements that lead to dance. I am also an educator in the Palo Alto School District and believe in the importance of incorporating arts as a core subject starting at a young age. I believe that schools that are able to incorporate art will see its positive impact on children’s behavior and academics. I am very excited to be able to provide this to schools through partnership with Leap Arts.
