David Cha

Born in Seoul, Korea, David Cha is a teaching artist, choreographer, and dancer. David moved to Los Angeles when he was ten years old. He started dancing with a group of friends who were into breakdancing and became exposed to other street dance cultures. He received his double major degrees in Dance & Performance Studies and Theater & Performance Studies at the University of California, Berkeley in 2019. David strongly believes that dance is an ultimate weapon to eliminate the differences between people in terms of their background, culture, race, and status.
