Poetry, Writing, And Book Arts

Students learn to experiment with words and creatively organize their thoughts using various poetic techniques like haiku, acrostic, alliteration, and rhyme. As the class progresses, students illustrate each poem with drawings and paintings and enclose them in a handmade book.
