Rhythm And Percussion

Students understand the foundations of rhythm, tempo, and percussion, using various drumming techniques, songs, games and exercises. They learn to create their own beats using drums, shakers, and their bodies. Students also learn how to play a variety of percussion instruments, make their own instruments, and play along to musical styles from around the world in this music enrichment class. Students will explore music and percussion from countries like Brazil, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Mexico, Africa, and more.
